EVENTS
NUAIR continues to actively educate, promote and support the UAS industry. Below are some of the upcoming and past drone, UAS, AAM and hi-tech events that NUAIR has supported and taken part in.

2021 New York State Public Safety UAS Summit
NUAIR and The New York State Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES) have partnered again to showcase the latest drone technologies and techniques geared specifically for public safety officials. This is a two day summit (July 28-29), open to all New York State public safety officials, registration deadline is July 16. Register HERE.

AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2021
This year’s Xponential theme is “Assured Autonomy”. Without assurance, trust in UAS safety and correct operation is constrained, impeding broad deployment and adoption and hindering proving UAS benefits for society. NUAIR will be participating as an exhibitor and NUAIR CTO Andy Thurling takes part in the panel “Defining Appropriate Cyber Security Requirements- A Risk Based Approach”. (May 4 – 6 and August 16 – 19)
AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2020
AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2020 is the global stage for everything unmanned — from state-of-the-art propulsion technology, sensors, energy storage and UAS mitigation solutions to what’s coming over the horizon in AI, 5G, edge computing and more. NUAIR and many of our New York UAS partners participated in this virtual event, including live round-table discussions, panel participation and “manning” the New York State Pavilion.

NEW YORK UAS PUBLIC SAFETY FLY-IN
On Oct. 29, NUAIR hosted its first New York UAS Public Safety Fly-In, bringing more than 100 public safety officials from across New York State to the State Preparedness Training Center (SPTC) in Oriskany, New York. Participants had a successful day of learning and flying drones in multiple emergency scenarios setup throughout the SPTC.

NEW YORK UAS SYMPOSIUM
The second annual New York UAS Symposium, hosted by NUAIR, at Turning Stone Resort in Verona, New York, Sept. 16-18, 2019 brought in more than 300 participants. The symposium gives the UAS community a chance to network with UAS industry leaders from around the globe, to make new connections, and most importantly, discuss the key issues facing our industry.
